Last day at Tech

Some of the room 7 students are cooking Sausages with cheese and Chips


Step one - Slice the sausages in half.

Step two - Top up wit cheese and tomatoes.

Step three - Bake for 10mins

Step four - Serve with tomato sauce.

Cooking at Tech

Today in cooking Pele and I made brownies.

Materials:
Table spoon
teaspoon
measuring cup
microwave
cup

ingredients:
Plain flower
butter
coconut flakes
baking powder
brown sugar
coco powder
vanilla essence

They way we made it:
Step 1 - 1 cup of plain flower
- 1 tsp of baking powder

Step 2 - 1/4 cup of cocoa
- 2 tsp coconut

step 3 - 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 125g butter c melted microwave 1 mins 10 secs

Step 4 - 1 egg
- 1 tbsp vanilla essence

Dear Mr Dunn, Staff Clarins,

My name is Fasi and I would like to say thank your kind heart for giving Glenbrae school year eights the opportunity to go see the HMNZS Canterbury or the biggest Navy ship in New Zealand. I would also like to thank the captains and the Navy soldiers for welcoming us and guiding us through the Navy ship.

When I went to the Navy ship I learnt about the many aspects which the ship has and the gun on the ship. I’ve also learnt that the Navy ship is not just for war, it is also used for disaster relief in the Pacific Islands and New Zealand.  

The many careers in Navy was an eye opener. Through the tour we learnt about the different roles and work opportunities in the Navy. The medical area was new learning because  I did not know there is an operating room in the ship.

This trip was worthwhile for us all because we are leaving primary school and starting college soon. Therefore, we have to start thinking about what we would like to be in the future.

Cooking-Tech

Today at tech we made Mince Pasta. Here are ingredients for Minces pasta.

1. Boil the pasta with 2 cups of cold water until it's soft.
2. Drain under cold water using colander.
3. Fry the mince with onion, when it cooked.
4. Add sauce
5. Combine with pasta sauce and top, up with cheese. 

Do all these steps and you will succeed in you Mince pasta

Cooking-Tech

On Friday November 2 2018 I went cooking at tech, I cooked fish pie.
Here are all of the steps to make fish pie.

Step 1-Peel the potatoes and bake until it's cooked.
Step 2- When the potatoes are cooked mash it up and lay it out into a baking tin.
Step 3-Mix tuna fish with half a can of mushroom cream and half of mayonnaise.
Step 4-Mix well top up on potato with cheese and bake for 10 mins
