On Monday the 29 we did some science and the science was the cars the planes a the fishing game also the magnet.

First we made our planes

Today we draw a paper on paper then we cut it out and put the paper clip and then put metal on it.
After that we played the card game.
How to make your a car: You will be needing paper and a paper clip and scissors.
You have to draw a car on you paper and cut it out{this is like the same as the planes} and put paperclip on the car, after that make a race track and put the magnet and under the paper a race with some.
When that was finished we did the fishing game
What you need\paper,paperclip,magnet,stick and string.
You need to get a paper and then you draw a fish, when you finished drawing it you need to cut it out and put the paperclip on the side, after you get a stick and tie a string to the sick the you tie a magnet to the string.
Then  there you have it you can play the fishing game.
Our last was the magnet the magnet is not a game this time it is real science you need 6 sticks and some loom bands to tie. So we made it.

Duffy show

Today on Wednesday 24 of August we went to the glenbrae because we were going to the Duffy show. When we went in the hall there was music playing behind a wall made out of wood to block the people who was going to do the duffy show.

The show started 2 men and 1 women walked out.
One boy was named Duffy he would always read a book called Doctor who, but one night he was reading his book the suddenly he hears a radio playing outside of a van because someone did not live in a house.
So the mum went down with Duffy to ask if the person that's playing the music to turn it down. When they went to the person the ask to turn it down. The mum asked for the old lady  “what is your name” Mum said the old lady said “my name is Ruby”. After that they started meeting every day. But one day she talked about when she was little, when she was a little girl she was poor, she lived on a farm.
One day her day had had to go out to war. After the war, lost of people got killed and Ruby dad was one of them, and that is all that Ruby told to Duffy.
So Duffy made a time machine and went back into time. He saw the dad in the war so Duffy holed the dad hand and run to the time machine, then he went back into time when Ruby fished the story, when he went to Ruby she was reading and that's how Ruby knows how to read.

She had a happy life.

Sports are better than music

Sports are better than music because sport make you fit healthy and strong the before.
You could join Olympics, athletic or competition.

You will be faster that last time.
When you join a competition in sports you can get trophies, gold medal. Also you will be a good champion.

I feel happy about why sport are better than music because you get healthy, fit and strong.

Why we shouldn't eat junk food

We shouldn’t eat junk food .

We shouldn’t eat junk food eat because when you don’t eat junk food you will get skinny and healthy. Junk food can make you sick and miss out on school. So do not eat junk food, even if it's on the ground and it is full.
Junk food can make you sick and you can even die from it unless it's not made properly.

Junk food is not good because you can get diabetes.
Its alright to take a little bit of junk food but not all the time. By stop eating junk food you will stay healthy and might not even get sick for 5 years.

Now you know why we shouldn’t eat junk food, so don’t eat a lot of junk food.

Today is maths I learn how to work out 10cm by 10cm and 20cm by 20cm

Dogs are better then cats

Dogs are better than cats because dogs learn more stuff than cats .

Dogs are good because when you stay home your dog can protect you.
A dog can save someone life. Cats can’t save people because if you're in trouble a cat would just run away.

Dog are better than cats because the have lots of trust and care. You need a dog for safety, care and for responsibility. If you’re scared your dog can protect you. It can even be your own home guard. Dog have good eyes. Dogs will not run away if you try and scare it. They will run up to you and they bite so becareful.

Now you know why we should have dogs.

Title: Piper by the sand

Author: John O’Brien

Today I read about a book about an instrument in the sand.

I feel good about what I read today because a boy named
My favourite character was Dougal because he wanted to find out more about what the sound was.

I would feel happy if the same thing that happened to my character, happened to me because I would've found a instrument

I think if the author decided to write another part to this story this is what will happen to be the greats piper player
