Alex and his friend ate 12 slices of the pizza, each slice is a one quarter of the pizza.
How many did they eat ?
My answer is = So there is one pizza and 12 pieces on it, Alex had 6 quarters and his friend had 6 quarters too
3 quarter is one whole piece of the pizza so they had 6 quarter each and 6 quarter is to piece
So they had 2 pieces each.
