3 x 365
300 x 3= 900
60 x 3= 180
5 x 3=15
900+180=1080
1080+15= 1095 milliliters
Hi Fasi,
ReplyDeleteThis is Susie from the SLJ team. You have done a great job thinking about the easiest way to solve this multiplication problem.
I can see that you've carefully thought about the place value for the number '365' and divided it into three chunks; 300, 60 and 5!
Your final answer is correct. If we were to put this answer in litres (L), how would you write it down?
Keep up the good work,
Susie
